About the Artist

I was born and raised in La Jolla, California, but am a midwesterner at heart! Originally trained as a database analyst, then clinical psychologist, I found my passion the field of veterinary medicine, and currently work as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Comparative Oncology at Purdue University. 

I have always been drawn to art - in particular paintings, photography, and wood. My first part-time job at the age of 14 was as a salesperson at a local art gallery in La Jolla- Gallery8. Decades later, I began producing work myself, as I was completing my medical training and continue to do so along with my full time career as a Medical Oncologist and Assistant Professor. I hope my works inspire joy, inspiration, relaxation, and whimsy. I now live in West Lafayette, Indiana with my husband and our four-legged children.
